We are a group committed to living a lifestyle of fellowship, family, and service, and together we aim to flourish and live our best lives. Most of the energy of our organization is aimed at keeping our values more present in our daily lives and in transmitting those values to our children and community. Simply put, we get together regularly in Palo Alto, CA, we have a set of values we share with each other, we do gatherings, which include a program for kids, retreats and service projects out in the local community. It is emerging from our collective views and needs. We are creating a community around gatherings, celebrations, traditions, curriculum and art. We want to give ourselves well structured advice and inspiration. We want to train ourselves in a repertoire of wisdom. We want something to support us in our learning all through our lives. We want to feel lifted through music, art, and poetry in a Sunday gathering together with others. We are exploring the spiritual mind and what it means to be human. We hope Blue will help us behave in a moral way, treat others with more kindness and compassion, forgive our fellow humans, understand ourselves, and confront our own mortality. We want to learn throughout our lives in order to be better, happier and wiser people and think doing that as group might be a wise idea. We hope this community will grow until we have a strong and consistent membership of hundreds of families and members.
